NAKB's annotations for nucleic acids, proteins, and ligands build upon NDB's manual curation, with most now automatically assigned. Nucleic acid-associated PANTHER Protein Class annotations are also provided. Nucleic acids bound to specific protein classes or functions, e.g. polymerase, virus, gene silencing or DNA repair, are most readily found via associated protein annotation. Entry counts link to corresponding search result lists.
